What good landing page design looks like
When you need landing page design, not another web page
Landing page design is for traffic you pay for or send yourself: Google Ads, Facebook and Instagram ads, LinkedIn campaigns and email. Your homepage has to serve everyone, while a landing page serves one audience with one offer.
As a landing page design agency we tend to recommend a page per offer or audience, not one page for every campaign. That keeps the number of pages manageable while each one stays specific. If you are unsure which you need, our guide to landing pages versus websites walks through it.
Message match with the ad
An easy way to lose a click is a page that doesn't say what the ad said. Google's advice for advertisers is to choose a landing page that closely matches the ad and keywords and mirrors its call to action, and landing page experience is one of the three parts of Quality Score.
For PPC landing pages, the headline repeats the search intent and the offer in the ad. Social traffic is different: people didn't search, so the page has to explain the offer quickly before it asks for anything. As a landing page designer, we write the first screen for that visitor.
One goal, short forms and real proof
High-converting landing pages ask for one thing. We remove the main navigation, keep forms to the fields you actually use and put the call to action near the top, as Google recommends making ordering, calling or enquiring quick and easy.
Framer forms can send submissions to email, Google Sheets or a webhook, connect to HubSpot, and include spam protection. Proof means reviews, client names and case studies you can stand behind, placed next to the form where doubts appear.
Speed on mobile
Google notes that many customers browse on their phones, and a slow page wastes the clicks you paid for. Google's Core Web Vitals give clear targets: Largest Contentful Paint within 2.5 seconds, Interaction to Next Paint of 200 milliseconds or less and Cumulative Layout Shift of 0.1 or less.
We compress images, limit third-party scripts and test the page on a mobile connection before any budget goes behind it.
A/B testing in Framer, so marketers can publish variants
We set up Framer's A/B testing add-on, which runs up to five versions of a page, including the original. Framer splits visitors evenly and reports conversion rate and lift for each one. It declares a winner once it has enough data and one variant's probability of being best passes 90%.
After launch, either your team or The Think publishes changes, whichever you choose. With on-page editing, your team can change text, images and offers on the live site without a developer. We set up the first tests and show your team how to run their own.
How we measure, and what to have ready
We track the page with GA4 and Microsoft Clarity and send regular reports on a schedule we agree with you, covering conversion rate for each variant and, with your ad data, cost per enquiry, so you see what the page is worth. When the wider site needs work too, our conversion rate optimisation service picks it up, and our Google Ads management and Facebook ads services can run the campaigns that feed the page.
Bring the ads or keywords the page will serve, your offer, any reviews or results you can share, brand assets and where leads should go. Our Google Ads landing page checklist is a useful starting point if you're writing the brief yourself.
01 — Discover
We look at the ads, keywords or emails sending traffic, the offer, and what a conversion is worth to you.
02 — Define
We plan the headline, offer, proof and form, then write or refine the copy.
03 — Deliver
We design and build the page in Framer, connect the form, set up GA4 conversion tracking and Microsoft Clarity, and check speed on mobile.
04 — Develop
We launch, watch the numbers and set up A/B tests on headlines or offers, so the page keeps improving.

Pricing & FAQ
Landing page design pricing.®
Every landing page gets a fixed quote once we know the campaign, the goal and whether copy and variants are included. A single page usually takes 1 to 3 weeks.
How much does a landing page cost?
It depends on the length of the page, whether copy is included, how many variants you want and any integrations. We quote a fixed price once we know the campaign and goal.
How quickly can you deliver a landing page?
A single landing page usually takes one to three weeks, depending on how ready the copy and assets are.
Will the landing page match our ads?
Yes. Each page repeats the promise and call to action of the ad, keyword or email that sends people to it. Google recommends landing pages that closely match the ad and keywords.
Do you write the copy?
Yes. Copywriting can be included in the quote, or we design around copy your team provides.
Can you set up A/B tests?
Yes. We set up A/B tests with Framer's A/B testing add-on, which splits traffic evenly between up to five versions of a page, including the original, and measures a link click, form submission or page view as the goal.
Can our team edit the page and publish new versions?
Yes. We build in Framer, so your team can duplicate a page and change text, images and offers without a developer. After launch, either your team or The Think publishes new versions, whichever you choose.
What makes landing page design convert?
Good landing page design keeps to one goal, opens with a headline that matches the ad, puts real proof near the form, asks only for the details you need and loads quickly on a phone.
Do we need a landing page or a full website?
A landing page suits one campaign or offer. A website suits people arriving from many places with different questions. You may well need both.
