Webflow design & development

Webflow sites for marketing teams who publish often.®

Designed, then built properly

Every page is designed first, then built in Webflow with a tidy class system, so new pages stay consistent.

A CMS shaped around your content

Case studies, resources or locations each get their own Collection, so adding content means filling in fields, not rebuilding layouts.

When a Webflow web design agency is the right call

A good Webflow web design agency should start by asking whether Webflow is the right fit. It suits marketing teams who publish a lot of structured content, such as case studies, resources, locations or job listings, and want a designer-grade build without a server to manage.

It's less suited to small sites that rarely change, where Squarespace or Wix can be simpler to run. If your site is mostly a handful of design-led pages, a Framer build is often the quicker route.

Content modelling comes before design

Webflow's CMS stores each type of content in a Collection with its own fields. It then generates a page for every item from a single template, so one change to the template updates every item page.

We decide Collections and fields before any design work, because that structure is the hardest thing to change later. Collection lists can then filter and sort items on any page, from the home page to a service page.

Webflow migration without losing rankings

Moving to Webflow is a rebuild rather than a one-click import. WordPress posts are exported as XML, converted to CSV and imported into Collections, while Squarespace content is recreated by hand and its images downloaded separately.

Before the domain switches, we add 301 redirects in Webflow's publishing settings, using wildcard rules where whole sections move. Webflow recommends keeping to around 1,000 rules, so on bigger sites the patterns matter. Redirects can also be bulk imported from a CSV file, which keeps a long list manageable.

Copy, SEO and the rest of the site

A Webflow site is only as useful as what goes into it. We can write the page copy, plan the search terms each template should target and add structured data, so the CMS launches with content worth finding.

Still weighing up platforms? Our Framer vs Webflow guide sets out the differences plainly, and the WordPress website design page covers the plugin-led alternative.

The trade-offs worth knowing

Webflow hosting is fully managed, and at handover we transfer the project to your own Webflow account, so the site is yours. It does live on Webflow, though: code export is available on paid Workspace plans, yet CMS content, forms and ecommerce don't work in the exported files, so leaving later still means a rebuild.

Editors work in a mode that protects the design, although changing unbound content inside a component changes every instance of it. We set up roles and lock the elements that shouldn't move.

Measuring results after launch

As Webflow developers we agree targets before launch, such as enquiries, demo requests or organic visits to resources, and set up tracking so you can see them. After go-live we watch indexing, redirects and Core Web Vitals in Search Console.

Ongoing updates can sit with our website maintenance team. If the deeper problem is your current site's structure, our website redesign service starts with a full audit.

What to have ready

Bring access to your current site and analytics, a list of the content types you publish, brand assets and the tools the site must connect to, such as your CRM. A rough page list is plenty; we'll shape it together in discovery.

If you have examples of Webflow sites you admire, send those too. They tell us more about the level of interaction and polish you expect than any written brief.

Pricing & FAQ

Webflow website pricing.®

Webflow websites start from £7,500. You get a fixed quote after discovery, based on page count, CMS Collections, integrations and migration, and most projects take 4 to 12 weeks.

How much does a Webflow website cost?

From £7,500. The fixed quote depends on page count, CMS Collections, integrations and whether we're migrating content.

Can you migrate our WordPress site to Webflow?

Yes. WordPress exports content as XML, which we convert to CSV and import into Webflow Collections. The design is rebuilt, and 301 redirects go in before the domain switches.

Do Webflow sites need plugins?

Not for the basics. The CMS, managed hosting and SSL certificates come with Webflow, so there's no plugin stack to keep updated. Most sites only add analytics and the odd integration.

Where is a Webflow site hosted?

On Webflow's managed hosting, delivered through Cloudflare with SSL included. Webflow looks after scaling and security patches, so there's no server for you to maintain.

Can our team edit the site without breaking it?

Yes. Webflow's content editor role can change text, images, CMS items and SEO fields but not structure or styles, and specific elements can be locked.

Is Webflow good for SEO?

Webflow lets you set titles and meta descriptions per page, auto-generates a sitemap and supports wildcard 301 redirects. Rankings still come from structure, content and links.

What does a Webflow web design agency add over a template?

A template gives you layouts. A Webflow web design agency plans your Collections, builds components your team can reuse and handles redirects, so the site holds up as it grows.

Should we choose Webflow or Framer?

Webflow suits content-heavy sites with complex CMS structures and teams who want fine control of the build. Framer is often quicker to design and edit for leaner marketing sites, and it's where we build most often.
