Website redesign services
Redesign the site you have without losing what already works.®
Audit first
Before any design, we find which pages bring in traffic, links and enquiries, and where visitors give up, so the redesign fixes real problems.
Rankings protected
Every URL that matters is mapped to its new home and permanently redirected before launch, then checked again once the new site is live.
A redesign that keeps what works.®
Whether you need a refresh of a few templates or a full rebuild on a new platform, our website redesign services start with evidence and end with a launch your search traffic can survive.

The detail
How a website redesign agency protects what already works
When a website redesign agency is worth hiring
Redesigning an existing site carries more risk than building a new one, because the old site has history: rankings, backlinks, bookmarks and pages people already trust. A website redesign agency earns its fee by keeping that history while fixing what holds the site back.
Common reasons to redesign are a site that looks dated next to competitors, a structure that hides key services, a platform your team can't edit, or pages that get visits but few enquiries.
Start with an audit, not a moodboard
We crawl every URL on the current site and pull traffic, conversions and links for each page. Each page then falls into one of four groups: keep, improve, merge with another page, or retire.
This is also when we record a baseline of organic clicks, enquiries and top landing pages over a comparable period. Without that baseline, nobody can honestly say whether the new site is doing better.
URL mapping and 301 redirects
Google's site move guidance starts with a URL map: a list of every old address and the new page it becomes. Permanent redirects, such as a 301, tell Google to show the new page in results instead of the old one.
Google advises keeping redirects for as long as possible, generally at least a year, and expecting rankings to fluctuate while it processes the move. On the Mould Matters redesign, 75 old addresses each got a redirect to the matching new page, reviewed with the business's search specialist before the domain was switched.
Content migration and phased redesigns
Moving content is more than copying and pasting. Titles, descriptions, headings and image alt text are carried over or improved on purpose, and internal links are updated to point straight at the new URLs.
Audits often turn up pages competing for the same search. Merging them into one stronger page and redirecting the other is often better than keeping both.
Not every site needs a full rebuild at once. A phased redesign updates the highest-value templates first, usually the homepage and service pages, and leaves the rest for a second stage.
Website redesign services on any platform
We redesign sites on any platform and often move them to Framer, where your team can edit content without a developer. If the move also changes your domain, Search Console's Change of Address tool comes into play; moving pages within the same domain doesn't need it.
If the brand feels as dated as the site, decide early whether you need a refresh or a full rebrand, because it changes the design brief. Our guide to rebrand vs brand refresh helps with that call.
Measuring before and after launch
On launch day we test redirects in bulk, check forms and tracking, and submit the new sitemap in Search Console. Over the following weeks we compare clicks, rankings, crawl errors and enquiries with the baseline. Any old URL that returns an error gets fixed straight away.
To get started, have access to your current site, analytics, Search Console and domain ready, plus a list of the pages your team and customers rely on most.
01 — Discover
We crawl your current site and pull analytics and Search Console data to see which pages rank, convert and attract links.
02 — Define
We agree the new sitemap, decide what each old page becomes, and build the URL map and redirect list.
03 — Design
We design key templates with your real content, keeping proven pages recognisable while fixing what slows visitors down.
04 — Deliver
We build, migrate content, set redirects and tracking, launch, then compare rankings, errors and enquiries with the old site.

Pricing & FAQ
Website redesign pricing.®
Website redesigns start from £7,500. Each gets a fixed quote after discovery, based on page count, how much content moves or changes and the depth of migration, and most take 4 to 10 weeks.
How much does a website redesign cost?
Website redesigns start from £7,500. Page count, content changes and the size of the migration set the final figure, and you get a fixed quote after discovery.
Will a redesign hurt our Google rankings?
Google says to expect some temporary fluctuation when URLs change. Mapping every old URL to its closest new page with permanent redirects, and keeping them in place, gives rankings the best chance to settle.
How long does a redesign take?
Typically 4 to 10 weeks, depending on page count and how much content needs rewriting or moving.
Do we need a full redesign or a refresh?
Not always a full one. If the structure works and only some templates feel dated, a phased redesign can update them in stages with less risk.
Can you keep our existing content?
Yes. We keep pages that rank and convert, rewrite the weak ones, and merge or retire pages that compete with each other, redirecting anything we remove.
Do you only redesign Framer sites?
No. We redesign sites built on WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, Webflow, Shopify and others, and often move clients to Framer. At handover we transfer the project to your own Framer account, or your own account on whichever platform it's built on.
What should a website redesign agency audit first?
Traffic and enquiries by page, backlinks, rankings and how visitors move through the site. That shows what to protect and what to fix before design starts.
Should we change our brand at the same time?
Not necessarily. A redesign can work with your current identity. If the brand itself feels out of date, a refresh or full rebrand can run alongside the new site.
