Branding for logistics and mobility
In logistics and mobility, reliability is the product. We build brands and websites that make complex networks feel clear, credible and easy to choose.

Freight, supply chain, mobility: we translate complex networks into plain language customers and partners understand.

The detail
What shippers look for in a logistics partner
Businesses choosing a logistics partner are handing over stock, customers and reputation. They want to know quickly what you move, where you cover, how you handle problems and how fast you can quote.
Many logistics websites hide those answers behind a generic "solutions" page and a photo of a lorry. Coverage is vague, services blur together and the quote form asks for everything before giving anything back.
Mobility and transport technology brands face a different version of the same problem. Riders, councils and partners need to understand a new service in seconds and trust that it is safe and dependable.
What logistics branding needs to do
Good logistics branding makes reliability visible. The positioning should rest on something specific, such as a specialism, a region, a type of freight or a level of service, rather than claiming to be fast and flexible like every competitor.
The identity lives on vehicles, uniforms, warehouses, labels and tracking emails as much as on the website. Our branding work designs for those surfaces first, so the brand reads clearly at a distance and on a phone screen.
For groups with several divisions, the brand also has to show how each service relates to the parent. That was the challenge on Citipost eCommerce, described below.
The website: built around services and quotes
Buyers search for the service they need, not for a logistics company in general, so the site should be organised the same way. We usually plan:
A separate page for each service, such as pallet distribution, warehousing, fulfilment or same-day delivery
Sector pages that show the industries you serve and what they require
A coverage page or map showing where you operate
A short quote request on every page, with clear response times
Proof: accreditations, case studies and client names you have permission to use
Careers pages for drivers and warehouse staff
Our logistics work
For LRC Logistics, a UK company offering pallet distribution, warehousing and pick and pack, we took on design, build, copywriting, image sourcing, SEO and set-up. The site gives each core service a clear presence, explains how LRC works in three steps (plan, move and deliver) and keeps a request-a-quote action throughout, with a blog as a base for search content.
For Citipost eCommerce, part of the Citipost group, we designed and built a dedicated website that set the eCommerce fulfilment offer apart from the wider group while drawing on its scale. The work covered UX and visual design, refined messaging, a suite of email marketing templates in Figma, and video filmed at a client location, Wildfarmed.
Trust signals and claims to get right
Outside Northern Ireland, which has its own rules, businesses using goods vehicles with a plated maximum weight over 3,500kg need an operator licence, as the government guidance on being a goods vehicle operator sets out. Stating that you hold one, and which type, is a simple trust signal for careful shippers.
Fleet and emissions claims need the same care as any environmental claim. The CMA's Green Claims Code says claims must be truthful, clear, substantiated and consider the full life cycle, so we write statements about electric vehicles or carbon to be specific and evidenced.
Search: one page per service and area
Logistics searches are service-led and often regional: pallet delivery, warehousing or fulfilment plus a place, or a sector such as ecommerce fulfilment. A dedicated page for each service and key area gives search engines a clear match for each query.
A blog for industry insight and news then builds authority over time. Our SEO and growth marketing work plans that content around the services that win you the most valuable contracts.
How a project with The Think runs
Discovery starts with your operations and sales teams and a review of your current site and competitors. Strategy then sets positioning, audiences and the service and area structure.
Your operations and commercial leads review each stage, and your team is trained to update service and area pages before go-live. Logistics projects typically take 10 to 16 weeks from first workshop to launch.
Brand identity starts at £4,000 and websites at £7,500, quoted as a fixed price before work begins. Our guide to UK website costs covers what pushes a budget up or down.
