Mould Matters is a London mould remediation specialist. It needed a website that explains what it does in plain language and makes each of its services easy to find.®
Mould remediation website design and SEO for a London mould specialist.
Mould Matters helps people deal with mould in their homes and buildings across London. The business offers a wide range of services, from surveys and treatment to the wider work of putting a problem right.
When someone finds mould, they want to know quickly whether you can help and what happens next. The brief was a website that answers those questions clearly, in language people outside the industry can follow, and gives every service a proper home on the site.

Problem
A wide range of services needed a clear structure.
Mould Matters offers a lot of services, and the previous site didn't give each one the space or structure it needed. Visitors had to work out for themselves which service fitted their problem.
Mould Matters also works well beyond central London, across Kent, Surrey and the surrounding counties. People search for mould help by place and by problem, and a handful of general pages can't answer both.
The business had search rankings built up on its existing site, so the move to a new one had to protect them. Changing the structure without a plan would have risked losing the visitors who already found the business.

Solution
Clear structure, plain-language copy.
We built the new site in Framer and organised Mould Matters' offering into 16 services, arranged across the homepage, dedicated hub pages and further pages that sit outside the main navigation. Each service has its own page, so visitors can land on the one that matches their problem.
For local SEO, we built an areas-covered section of more than 130 location pages. It starts with hub pages for London, Kent, Surrey and the surrounding counties, then has a page for each borough, town and neighbourhood the business covers, from Brixton and Canary Wharf to Canterbury, Guildford and Chelmsford. Each page speaks to that place, so someone searching for mould removal near them finds a page written for their area.
Alongside it, we built a guides section of 26 in-depth articles. The guides answer the questions people ask before they call a specialist: what black mould is, how a damp and mould survey works, what mould removal costs, what landlords need to know, and what to do in the first 48 hours after a leak.
We wrote the copy across the homepage, About, Services and Why Choose Us sections, keeping it clear and free of jargon. To protect search rankings during the move to the new website, we set up 75 redirects from the old site's addresses to the matching pages on the new one, and the changes were reviewed with the business's search specialist before the domain was switched over.
Concept
Easy to find, easy to understand, built to be found.
The idea was to make the site as simple to use as the business wants its service to be, and to give it the reach to be found. Every service sits in a logical place, every page says plainly what the service involves, and every page leads the visitor towards getting in touch.
The location pages, the guides and the service pages work as one system. It is the approach we take when building a website for a mould remediation company, a damp specialist or any trade or home-services business that wins work by being found locally: someone can arrive from a search for a problem or a place, and find a clear route to the right service.
The new Mould Matters site went live in October 2026 at mouldmatters.com, giving the business a clear, well-organised home for all of its services and a strong base to grow its search visibility from.
