Know More

Founded by former professional footballer Alfie Egan, Crossover Partners backs former athletes in finding purpose beyond sport, and helps businesses hire people with a winning mindset. It needed a website that speaks to both sides.®

Website design for an athlete-founded recruitment business.

Crossover Partners is a recruitment business with a clear mission: helping athletes build a new career and a new identity after sport, and helping employers access talent shaped by resilience, focus and drive. It was founded on lived experience, not theory.

The brief was a website that works for two very different audiences: former athletes looking for their next chapter, and businesses looking to hire them.

Problem

Two audiences, one story.

A recruitment business like this has to speak to two groups at once. Former athletes need to feel understood, and to see a way forward. Employers need to see why hiring an athlete is a smart business decision.

The website also had to do the practical work of a recruiter: show live roles, share real success stories, and make it easy to get in touch from either side.

Solution

A clear route for athletes and employers.

We took the whole project on: design, build, copywriting, image sourcing, SEO and set-up. The site gives athletes and employers their own journeys, with dedicated pages for former athletes and for employers, a jobs board for browsing roles, and a stories section where athletes and businesses tell their own experience.

The copy is warm and direct, in the voice of a founder who has lived the transition himself. We handled the search optimisation so the site can be found by both athletes looking for a career after sport and employers looking for high-performance hires.

Concept

People, not just profiles.

The idea was to put the human story first. The site leads with the founder's own experience and the stories of the athletes and businesses it has worked with, then gives each audience a simple next step.

It is the approach we take when building a website for a recruitment agency, job board or any people-led business that has to build trust with candidates and clients at the same time.
